Welcome Fall 2024 – A Season of Change

Coordinated by MTP Lisa & staffed by Circle Volunteers

With the changing colors of the trees, we move from the green days of summer and turn our attention to the fullness of nature around us. As we celebrate the bounty of our harvests and prepare for the changes ahead, we welcome you to join us at our Welcome Fall festival.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

All activities take place in Temple Room of the barn unless otherwise noted.

9:30am - 10:00am Gate Opens for Arrivals

Please check in at the Temple Room in the Barn.  Coffee and tea will be available.

10:00am - 10:30am Welcome Circle with Lisa

Gather for opening announcements about the day's events and reflections on this season of change.

10:30am - 11:00am Break 

Take time to meet and greet other folks or enjoy the land!

11:00am - 12:00pm Equinox Tide Mindfulness Walk to Stone Circle with Dr. Dennis Carpenter & Rev. Selena Fox

 Attune to Autumn in this meditative walk to the Stone Circle atop Ritual Mound at Stone Circle.  Join in a short Equinox ritual facilitated by Dennis & Selena.  Bring a small stone, crystal, or rock to leave as an offering.  Be prepared for standing and walking in any weather conditions, including sturdy walking shoes and drinking water.  Meet outside the barn in the parking lot area.

11:00am - 12:00pm Craft your Own Manifestation Board with Lisa

Join us in the Temple Room for a brief visioning meditation and create your own manifestation board with symbols of this season of change.                                               

11:00am - 12:00pm Family Activities in the Summer Kitchen with McKenzie & Rev. Florence

 We'll explore the land to observe how it's changing and then make some art with colorful fall leaves.

12:00pm - 1:00pm Lunch

Please bring your own sack lunch and container for drinks.  Please no peanut products!  The Resource Shop above the Temple Room will be open during lunch for your shopping pleasure!

1:00pm - 2:00pm Equinox Transformations with Rev. Selena Fox

Rituals & Meditations at Equinox time for personal healing, balance, renewal, & gratitude.  Bring a journal or notebook and pen for noting guidance and ideas.  In person participation in this workshop included with in person registration.  In the Temple Room.

1:00pm - 2:00pm Family Activities in the Summer Kitchen with McKenzie & Rev. Florence

Apples are a traditional part of fall festivities.  We'll do some apple science, apple divination, and apple art.  Plus, we get to eat apples!

2:00pm - 2:30pm Break

Coffee and tea will be available in the Temple Room.  Please bring your own snacks.  Please no peanut products!

2:30pm - 3:30pm Rocks in the Dark with Paul Herrick (Truly)

Join Truly in the Temple Room for an exploration of quirks of consciousness and shadows of thought that can trip you up on the road to living a magical life.  

2:30pm - 3:30pm Family Activities in the Summer Kitchen with McKenzie & Rev. Florence

Fall is a season of change, and some of its greatest beauty is also the shortest-lived.  We'll explore a different area of the land, with a focus on the seasonal changes and on appreciating fleeting beauty. 

3:30pm - 4:00pm Break and Ritual Preparations

4:00pm Welcome Fall Ritual with Rev. Judith outdoors at Ritual Circle (weather permitting)

As we honor this season of change, we will reflect on what we have reaped, celebrate the abundance of our harvest, and with hope in our hearts focus our intentions on the changes we want to see in the world around us and within us. 

5:00pm Clean-up and Departures

The day is not done until the last task is complete.  Teamwork makes the dream work and builds community.  Please stay to help with take down and clean up.  

TO BRING

  • A sack lunch and snacks for you and your family.  Please, no peanut products!
  • Your own bottle or cup for water, and/or a mug for coffee & tea.
  • Warm clothing for Wisconsin autumn weather, hat, coat, warm socks, boot, gloves, etc.  Some events will be outdoors.  
  • A notebook and pen to take notes during workshops.

DO NOT BRING

  • Any peanut products or peanuts due to a severe airborne allergy of attendees.
  • Unregistered people.
  • Firearms or fireworks.
  • Pets.

Registration is open until midnight on September 19, 2024.

Cancellation Policy:   Written cancellations with refund requests received five days before the event will be issued after the event, less 15% fee for processing.  No refunds will be granted for cancellations made less than 5 days before the start of the event.
