and our spirit with raucous joy, music, and community!

AWAKENING!  Schedule of Events 

Friday,      May 3rd
12:00pm  Gate opens for VENDOR arrivals
3:00pm  Gate opens for general arrivals
4:00pm  Opening of the Fairie Shrine with Kristol, Rev. Selena Fox & Others
Join in as we open, bless, and welcome in the Fae!  Feel free to bring trinkets, shiney objects and gifts for the Fae.  Bring a poem or blessing to share!
   All ages are welcome! 
5:00pm  Mediation Techniques to Enhance Well-Being and Nature Connectedness with Dr. Dennis Carpenter
Meditation can help reduce stress, enhance wellness and deepen connections to body, land and spirit.  We will explore ways to weave breathing techniques, embodiment, mindfulness and
movement into daily practice.  This is part 1 of a 2-part series. Held at Brigid's Spring.  Please

bring a chair, mat, or blanket if you don't want to sit on the ground.

7:30pm  Opening Announcements and Opening Ritual at the Maypole
8:30pm  Don't Be Drum Shy! with Shouting Mountain in the Temple Room
This fun hands-on workshop is open to all levels of experience and ability. If you have a drum or other percussion instrument, bring it with you!  If you haven't found that drum that makes
 your heartbeat yet, a limited number of drums will be available for those without.
Together we will explore rhythms and share our love of the drum with open hearts! 
Dancers are welcome!

Saturday, May 4th
8-9am  Continental breakfast in the Summer Kitchen
9:00am  Gate opens for new arrivals / Raffle-Silent Auction and Merchanting opens on the Green!
9:00am Newcomers Meet & Greet at the picnic tables
All are welcome to come learn about Circle Sanctuary and the land.  Bring your questions.  Meet the community!
9:30am  Unwrapping of the Maypole & Practice
Join in the unwrapping of the May Pole. Teens and adults are welcome to help unwrap.  This will be followed by Maypole Dance practice for those who signed up to dance and weave the 
  May Pole during ritual! 
10:30am  Morris Dancers & May Day Royalty Selection
This group of Morris dancers have been performing at Circle's Beltane celebrations since the mid-90's!  The English folk dance has been a part of the May Day celebrations for centuries and we are
   happy to continue the tradition!  During this time, we will also announce and crown the
 May Day Royalty!  This participatory performance will be just one of many opportunities to embrace the heritage of the holiday!

1:30pm Land Spirits Rituals with Rev. Selena Fox in the Temple Room
Explore some ceremonial ways of connecting and collaborating with Spirits of Land.   Honor Land Spirits as part of personal and household spiritual practices including home blessings,
  life transitions, lunar rituals, and seasonal celebrations.  Learn some invocations, chants, offerings, meditations and thanksgivings that can enhance relationships with Land Spirits.
 This workshop will also be livestreamed.

1:30pm  Family Programming - Beltane Crown Making with McKenzie & Christina 
Make your own Beltane Crown!  We'll take a short walk to gather natural materials to make your crown using leaves and flowers.  

3:00pm  Handfasting of Syh & Grant with Rev. Selena Fox at Stone Circle
Join us as beloved community members, and last year's May couple Syh and Grant tie the knot!  
Ride assists will be available to Stone Circle.
3:00pm  Family Programming - Power of Color with McKenzie& Christina
Harness the power of color to build intention by coloring your hair using special chalk markers that wash out in a single shampoo.  Let's have fun learning the energy of each color and
decorating ourselves while we do it!  Younger participants should be a favorite adult helper please.

4:30pm Raffle & Silent Auction Ends
  The exciting results of the raffle and silent auction.  You must be present or have a proxy to win.

Sunday, May 5th
8-9am Continental breakfast in the summer kitchen
9:00am Family Programming - Children's Beltane Ritual with McKenzie & Christina
Join the kids in their Beltane Ritual as they perform the May Pole Dance with their very own May Pole.  
10:00am Mindful Nature Walk with Dr. Dennis Carpenter
We will practice meditation techniques as we walk to various sacred sites at Circle Sanctuary to connect more deeply with our own bodies, with Circle Sanctuary the land, and spirit
within us and around us.  This is Part 2 of the series and while participating in both parts
of the series is recommended, those that didn't attend Part 1 are still welcome and 

encouraged to attend.  Wear comfortable shoes/clothes and the pace will accommodate
the the needs of those participating.  Meet in front of the barn.

10:00am Power Amulet Making with Chrstina Dummann in the Temple Room
Make your very own power amulet.  Learn about various power symbols and tap into your creative side as we decorate the amulets.  Bring small crystals or other items to 
decorate your amulet.  Younger participants should bring an adult helper.  

11:30am Lunch served behind the farmhouse
1:00pm Closing Ritual at the May Pole
3:00pm Final Departures


ITEMS TO BRING

  • An item or two to donate for the Raffle and/or Silent Auction.
  • Ritual garb and/or brightly colored clothes, as well as a crown of flowers or greens for your head or bells for your feet, to wear during the Beltane Ritual.
  • Offering of small stones, crystals, rocks, flowers for the Stone Circle.
  • Offering for the Fairie Shrine.
  • Your own bottle or cup for water, and/or a mug for coffee.
  • Camping Gear:  tents, sleeping bag, pillow, air mattress, flashlight, water jug, towel, biodegradable soap and shampoo, personal toiletries, sun gear, rain gear cold weather gear, insect and tick repellent.
  • A lawn chair, mat, or blanket for outdoor seating.   Many activities will be outside.
  • Clothing for 3 seasons.  Love Mother Earth, love all her weather choices.
  • Long pants, hiking shoes/boots.
  • Drum, rattle, or other rhythm instrument.  

ITEMS NOT TO BRING

  • Unregistered people
  • Pets
  • Firearms, fireworks
  • Illegal drugs
  • Please no peanut products due to severe airborne allergy!


Cancellations received before April 28th will be refunded minus 15% processing fee.  Cancellations received on April 28th or later will not be refunded.  Please refer to Circle's cancellation policy if you should need to cancel your event registration.
