Beryl & River!

River has been active in Pagan communities for over 40 years as an instructor, ritual coordinator, consultant, and diviner. A lifelong practicing Pagan, he has worked and studied in such places as Salem, MA, to San Francisco, CA, and many places between. River has also had the honor to facilitate rituals, such as Sabbat celebrations and the Sacred Hunt, throughout the US. He considers himself as a cross between a Family Tradition and an Eclectic Witch with roots in his family practices, Zen, and many other traditions. River's divination practice specializes in Bones, Runes, and Tarot Cards. River also teaches Witchcraft, Paganism, Shadow Work, and Divination around Wisconsin's Chippewa Valley and at festivals nationwide.

Beryl Ouimette resides in Wisconsin as a Pagan wife & mother, shop keep, artist, herbalist, mead maker, and ritualist. For over three decades, she has studied and practiced herbalism and ritual, weaving together nature’s gifts with sacred ceremony. She has had the honor of participating in the Sacred Hunt, local and national rituals, and helping to guide others in finding community.  Whether it’s guiding others through spellwork, creating ritual meads, or crafting meaningful experiences, she finds joy in helping others deepen their spiritual practice. A follower of the Faery Underworld tradition and a devotee of community, she has been integrating her Pagan experience to create third spaces within their store, book club, support group, events, and presentations.

Embrace vibrant rebirth and the illuminating warmth of Beltane at Circle Sanctuary. The gentle unfolding of blossoms reminds us of life’s continued growth and renewal, while the dancing flames symbolize passion, transformation, and connection. As we gather to honor the earth’s awakening, together with music, movement, and ritual, we unite our intentions with the radiant energy that enlivens the land. By moving amidst blossoms and fire, we open our hearts to the season’s abundant blessings, celebrating both the beauty of nature’s renewal and the shared spark of community spirit.

The good neighbors of the Faery Court are stirring.  Let us welcome them with blossoms and music!  Folk have long worn flowers and greenery as a way of celebrating the season.  It's a way of say8ing yes to what's growing.  Today we'll be making flower crowns from raffia, ribbon, feathers, and fresh blooms.  There's no one right way to do it.  Let if feel a little wild!  We'll also create bell bands inspired by Morris dancing traditions, where the sound of bells and the rhythm of movement help wake the land and turn the wheel.  Once we've finished, we'll head out to the Green to join the Morris Dancers.  We'll wear what we've made, move together, and take part in the crowning of the Beltane King and Queen.
