Circle Sanctuary Nature Preserve, located near Barneveld, Wisconsin, contains 200 acres of trails, springs, wetland, sacred sites, and Circle Cemetery. Circle Sanctuary is a church rooted in Sacred Land, serving people of Pagan and other Nature-centered spiritual paths. We welcome individuals, families and small groups will to come and connect with Sacred Land and further their connection with the Divine and with the Spirit of this unique place.
Visiting days in 2019 are being planned in conjunction with our Sanctuary Days, our monthly volunteer days.
Please contact the Circle office by email at least one week in advance regarding your interest in visiting on a Sanctuary Day. If you are interested in a tour, please request it in advance.
Tours are conducted on foot on Circle Sanctuary's trails. Please pre-register if you would like to request a tour by using the form below at least 24 hours in advance and specify if you are interested in either the sacred sites, habitats or cemetery tours. Please dress in layers, and wear sturdy supportive shoes or hiking boots. Circle Sanctuary Nature Preserve is hilly, and most trails are not flat.
Access to Circle Sanctuary may be restricted due to weather. In case of snow, please check www.circlesantuary.org or call 608-924-2216 to confirm if visiting is possible. Tours may be canceled or curtailed due to weather, poor trail conditions, or special events.
