Whether it's you or your loved ones, know that you can reach out to a member of the Circle Sanctuary ministry team by phone or by email. You can contact us and the Team Coordinator (Minerva) will respond to you to get some basic information and link you with a member of the support team. The team member will reach out to talk with you and offer support and guidance. While we understand that these times are not stable, we will need to know when is the best time and how is the best way to reach you.
Our efforts are not limited to Pagans or to members of the Circle Sanctuary community. If you or your loved ones, family members, or friends are in need of confidential counselling, feel free to reach out to us. If you've been displaced, you are an emergency/aid responder, or you have suffered some sort of damage as the result of the hurricane, reach out.
We realize that the need for support doesn't diminish once the rain stops. We will keep the lines/email open through the month September. At the end of the month, we will evaluate the need and keep the lines open if necessary.
Providing support through emotional and spiritual counselling isn't new to the Circle Sanctuary ministry team. Volunteers provided spiritual counselling to Pagans and others after the mass shootings at Fort Hood, Texas, at Northern Illinois University, and at Virginia Tech. The team offered spiritual counselling after Hurricane Sandy hit New York, New Jersey, and the New England region of the United States.
