at Circle Sanctuary Nature Preserve

13 miles west of Mt. Horeb

11am – 12:30pm: Community Yuletide Spirit Activities
  • Trim the Yule Tree: Join in the fun of stringing popcorn and cranberry garland! Help decorate the tree. Place your gift for the Magickal Gift Exchange under the tree. Place your Yule Food Drive donations in the boxes under the tree.
  • Crafting Ojo’s de Dios (Eyes of God) – with Penny Goody. Made from yarn and sticks, the Eyes of God can be used for wrapping up and remembering the passing year, making a magickal gift to share with another, decorating your tree, or as protective talismans.
  • Making Native American Solstice Prayer Sticks – with MoonFeather. Prayer sticks are made for four days before the Solstice. Prayers are tied to the stick. Then on Solstice Day holes are dug in the ground by the head of the household and the Prayer Sticks are placed in the hole by their maker. The belief is the wind then carries the prayers to the Spirit/Creator.
