Community Yule Festival Saturday December 20, 2008, 11 AM - 4 PM at Circle Sanctuary Nature Preserve 13 miles west of Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin Celebrate the Solstice at Circle Sanctuary! UPDATED Event Schedule: 10:30 AM: Open to arrivals 11 AM: Resource shop opens, potluck feasting begins 11:15 AM: Welcome with Selena & Alice 11:30 AM: Pagan Caroling with Michael Doran Noon: Sacred Plants of Winter Solstice with Selena Fox- learn about herbs, trees, and other plants associated with Yuletide and ways of incorporating them into your personal and household celebrations 1 PM: Winter Solstice Ritual (indoors) - welcoming in Winter Solstice with candle lighting, solstice blessings, music, meditation, and community visioning. 2 PM: Burning the Yule Log (outdoors) in Bonfire Circle 2:30 PM: Yuletide Gift Exchange - bring a wrapped gift to exchange 4 PM: Clean up and farewells Things to bring: 3 or more cans of food to donate to Circle's annual food drive Magical gift to exchange: please write your name and something about the spiritual significance of the gift on a card (so that the receiver of your gift can thank you) and wrap the card and the gift in opaque paper (that can't be seen through) Contribution for potluck feast.
