11:45 am - 1:15 pm Discovering the Magic of Spring through Balance & Nature
The Spring Equinox is a moment in time where light and dark are in perfect balance. It’s a time for us to think of whether we are balanced in our lives. Do we give as much as we take not only in our lives but in nature? Participants can travel to three workshop areas where they will create Spring Magic working with the balance of the elements and nature. With the magic of Land and Dark, you will bury seeds in the dark soil so they may begin to seek the spring light and sprout. You will work with the magic of Sky and Light on the wings of butterfly Faeries you create to soar in the Springtime. And, you will create personal Balance talismans to carry with you when you may need to restore the balance in your life.
1:15 pm - 1:30 pm Break
1:30 pm - 3:00 pm

Ostara Egg Hunt & Spring Magic Fun

Prepare your egg for divination during the ritual. Or, bring a drum or rhythm instrument and feel the rhythm of the season in your heart as we drum and dance around the bonfire.

3:00 pm - 3:30 pm Egg Hunt Prizes and Announcements
Prizes will be awarded in adult and child categories. Sharing of Community news.
3:30 pm - 4:30 pm Spring Magic of Dionysus
Garan du, Minoan Brotherhood High Priest from Ohio will talk about ancient Greek Pagan traditions of Spring and work with the Green God, Dionysus.
4:30 pm Community Spring Equinox Ritual
This year's ritual has three parts. It begins with the consecration of the newly expanded Circle Cemetery . Bring a symbol or tool associated with Earth, Air, Fire, or Water and then join others who have selected that Element in the procession to and through the restored prairie and adjacent woods. The Cemetery blessing will culminate in a Community Circle at the original Cemetery area. For the second part, we willl journey to the nearby Stone Circle where we will welcome in Spring, energize our Balance talismans, and do magic for Spring growth. Finally, we will do Egg Divination by rolling our prepared eggs down Ritual Mound. All or part of the ritual will be held outdoors, depending on the weather. Please wear appropriate clothing and shoes/boots for walk to the prairie and Stone Circle . Some ride assistance will be available for those with mobility challenges. Ritual will be facilitated by Selena Fox & others.
