Using the portals of Voice, Music, Movement and Service, we work ritual together from midnight to dawn, with the intention to release painful patterns and energies, gain access to our deep wells of creativity, and find personal transformation. We invite you to join us as we prepare the space before ritual by creating visual beauty and places for healing, meditation, and nurturance. As we work together, we also build bonds of community, friendship and mutual understanding which allow us greater trust and freedom within the Fire Circle. Join us in this powerful, deeply transformative journey. Songs, rhythms, poetry, dance or simply a hand to hold - your gifts are welcome here!

  • Sacred Hunt Ritual: An Ecstatic Ritual for Spiritual Transformation.Under a waxing moon, deep in a forest glade, amid firelight, dancing shadows, and rapid drumming, the Hunt ensues... • Women's Ritual: As women we are mothers, teachers, healers, and visionaries; strong and vital. Our traditions are daily rituals of activity wherein we weave the divine fabric of our lives. But in the maelstrom of our responsibilities we sometimes develop a buildup of minutiae until we lose sight of what truly nourishes our souls. On this night gather together with your sacred Sisters to celebrate your divinity and support each other in finding clarity; brush away the chaff and reclaim the essential. All women are welcome! Drums and rattles are encouraged. As a reflection of the Goddess, you are blessed and blessed will be our time together.

  • Young Men's Rite of Passage

For thousands of years, Tribal Elders have sent their adolescent males into the wilds for vision questing. These quests were the marking of the coming of age where the boy was no longer a child and could begin to taste some of the responsibilities and rewards that come with young adulthood. Join Hawthorn and Billy Crow in a quest for a vision of your path as a young adult. Participants should be between the ages of 12-16, have recently reached puberty, have at least one support person, and be willing to commit to a three day program that includes:
    • Spending the night in a primitive camp kindling a sacred fire
    • Night-time Hedge Walk to meet and honor the spirits of the Land
    • Learning shape-shifting techniques
    • Learning to sense energy in the Land
    • Community Ritual and Presentation at the Men's Ritual.
The program also focuses on the importance of integrity, accountability and conscientiousness within the family and Community at large. Mandatory meetings for the parent and seeker will be held the day before and after the vision quest. Interested parties should contact Hawthorn at danceswithfyre@hotmail.com or attend the Monday Morning Meeting, with their support person, to sign up.
