Tight harmonies and soaring vocals telling tales from legend, history and myth are the hallmark of this band. Blending traditional tunes with rich, literate lyrics, compelling melodies and rock, jazz and flamenco instrumental hooks, Coyote Run weaves a tapestry unlike any other. Bagpipes, didgeridoo, tribal drums, and much more greet the audience at a Coyote Run concert. Something in the alchemical mix of the players and their unique backgrounds creates a seamless, adrenaline filled show that never lets up. From the growling, rhythmic screams of the didgeridoo, to the rich, polyrhythms of the drums, to the monstrous and intricate bass lines, to the lyrical whimsy of the whistles, to the triumph of the bagpipes - this is a band of decidedly eclectic tastes that will not be constrained by genre or style. Damh is a musical storyteller who works within the world of myth that cannot be proved; where the Faerie really do dance on Midsummer's Eve, where the trees talk, and the Hollow Hills take you into the realms of Annwn. Where the Goddess rides her horse, guiding you to magic, and the Horned God of old calls us from the shadows of the Greenwood. His inspiration comes from the ancient myths and legends of the British Isles and Ireland; from King Arthur to Taliesin; from the Welsh Mabinogion to old British folk customs.

Not only is this frustrating, it is also impractical for many modern day practitioners with work, school, children and other demands on their time.
