Damh the Bard

Damh is a modern-day Bard whose spirituality, and love of folk tradition, is expressed through his music, storytelling and poetry. Drawing on the Bardic traditions his performances are both entertaining and educational, weaving a tapestry of myth, peace, and anthems that speak directly to the heart, but never without a good splash of humour. Damh is a musical storyteller who works within the world of myth that cannot be proved; where the Faerie really do dance on Midsummer's Eve, where the trees talk, and the Hollow Hills take you into the realms of Annwn. Where the Goddess rides her horse, guiding you to magic, and the Horned God of old calls us from the shadows of the Greenwood. His inspiration comes from the ancient myths and legends of the British Isles and Ireland; from King Arthur to Taliesin; from the Welsh Mabinogion to old British folk customs.

Damh has always believed that his job is to entertain his audience and take them on a journey through the old stories and myths of this land. His audiences leave his concerts having been fully engaged by Damh, and with a deeper understanding of Britain's ancient heritage.

He has performed extensively on the spiritual festival circuit, in the UK, Europe, Australia and the USA, and is as much at home playing to an intimate audience of 50 to playing to 1500+ at the larger venues.

In August 2007 he was one of the featured folk singer/songwriters on the John Barleycorn Reborn compilation (produced by Woven Wheat Whispers and Coldspring Records) of modern folk artists who were considered to be breaking new ground in the current folk scene by working deeper with the UK?s mythology and folklore.

Coyote Run

Touring the country, Coyote Run presents sweeping soundscapes in concert halls, earthy celtic vibes at pagan and highland festivals, and rollicking good times at the PA Renaissance Faire. Now join them as they return to PSG to engage the audience in story after story - whisking them away to march side by side with Joan of Arc, or to roll out the guns against Sir Francis Drake, invade the French city of Calais, snatch back a faerie abductee, or witness a woman prevail after a cruel witch trial. Tight harmonies and soaring vocals telling tales from legend, history and myth are the hallmark of this band. Blending traditional tunes with rich, literate lyrics, compelling melodies and rock, jazz and flamenco instrumental hooks, Coyote Run weaves a tapestry unlike any other. Bagpipes, didgeridoo, tribal drums, and much more greet the audience at a Coyote Run concert. Something in the alchemical mix of the players and their unique backgrounds creates a seamless, adrenaline filled show that never lets up. From the growling, rhythmic screams of the didgeridoo, to the rich, polyrhythms of the drums, to the monstrous and intricate bass lines, to the lyrical whimsy of the whistles, to the triumph of the bagpipes - this is a band of decidedly eclectic tastes that will not be constrained by genre or style. Come and experience the magic that is Coyote Run!

While continuing with ER, Arthur is now branching out as a solo singer-songwriter, exploring a wide array of musical genres, including folk, jazz, rock, flamenco, and of course Celtic. His song lyrics often delve into the spiritual and mystical dimensions of life's beauties, joys, and sorrows, with Paganism, especially Celtic mythology and tradition, remaining a primary source of inspiration. Arthur is also a student of Bardic poetry and storytelling and has been know to tell a tale or two himself.

Murphey's Midnight Rounders (formerly Dunn County Clerics)

Murphey's Midnight Rounders play acoustic folk with elements of rock/Irish and country. Their songs uncover novel rhythms and moving orchestrations while concentrating on elaborate harmonies. The effect evokes feelings that are truly otherworldly.

Formerly of the pagan band (Dunn County Clerics) Teresa Frank and Brad Murphey incorporate traditional Pagan tunes in contemporary styles; both Pagan ministers they are able to capture the element of ritual with music and songs as tools. Brad Murphy's original songs are soulful fragments of lost dreams and ambitions with political satire and dark humor. "Call That Never Comes," showcases Brad as an original composer and captures raw human emotion and empathy with lyrics tugging at the heartstrings of the audience. Teresa Frank creates a beautiful atmosphere with haunting backup vocals and bassist Nick Okonek grounds the act with a steady rhythm and low-end harmony.

Their song, 'Make A Chain Across the World' has been dubbed "the Pagan National Anthem."
