Dear Sir:
The Sacred Well Congregation is a 501 (c)( 3) Church under Section 509 a (1) by Letter of Determination from the IRS. We have members in 42 States and 17 foreign countries and a large segment of our English-speaking constituency are active duty, reserve or retired service members and their families. We are a full member of the Congress on Ministry in Specialized Settings (COMISS) Network as a Religious Endorsing Body and a Member Agency of the Combined Federal Campaign. We provide Denominational Sponsorship and Group Leader Endorsement for 32 officially accommodated Distinctive Faith Groups around the world and across all of the Armed Services. Our programs and services support over 5000 service members annually.
Our military members and military veterans have overwhelmingly expressed the desire to have the Pentacle used as their emblem of belief on their government issued headstones. Our veterans have served proudly and faithfully and are entitled to the same rights, privileges and benefits afforded any veteran of the United States Armed Forces.
This letter is on behalf of our own members, and service men and women who share our faith group and benefit from our programs. We wish to add our full and unqualified support to Circle Sanctuary's application for the Pentacle to be used as an emblem of belief for Wiccan and other Pagan veterans on government issued headstones and markers.
Very Respectfully,
signed
