U. S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada and Nevada Governor-Elect Jim Gibbons are sending representatives to attend the historic dedication of Sgt. Patrick Stewart's memorial plaque on Saturday, December 2 at 2:00 pm at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley Nevada. A staff member of Governor-elect Jim Gibbons is expected to issue a public statement at the dedication ceremony.

Religious leaders from Christian, Jewish, Native American and Wiccan traditions will be among those doing prayers and blessings of the plaque. War veterans and those presently in the US Armed Forces are expected to attend to share in a unique celebration of the first Wiccan Pentacle to appear on a government-issued memorial plaque in a Veterans Cemetery.

Rev. Selena Fox will read a statement regarding the Pentacle issued by a grieving mother of an 18-year-old American Wiccan soldier, killed in action May 11, 2006 in the War in Iraq.

Rev. Fox will also read remarks by Rev. Barry Lynn from Americans United for Separation of Church and State is expected to comment on the pending lawsuits against the US Department of Veterans Affairs. Roberta Stewart will read a statement from a widow of a deceased Wiccan Korean War veteran.
