Sworn to Support and Defend

"I, Riley Tiger, do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States..."
I am not a Wiccan, nor do I subscribe to their beliefs. However, I took the above oath for the first time in 1970, and many other times after that for twenty years.

When our Supreme Court allowed the burning of the United States flag, based on the First Amendment to the Constitution, it made me sick. Every time I'd see an American burn the American Flag, I had to remind myself of the oath I took:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
First Amendment to the Bill Of Rights.
How can the Pentagon, and the Powers-to-be say they support and defend the US Constitution?

We have Crosses on headstones, we have the Star of David on headstones, why can't the Wiccans have their symbol on their headstone?

These brave men and women, gave the ultimate sacrifice in defense of their Country, now we dishonor them by not allowing them them the very freedom they died for?

We should all be appalled and pray that we didn't lose that very freedom afforded us through the Constitution.
