January 13, 2006 - Circle Times Update
This Saturday, January 14, 2006, on the night of the Full Moon, Wiccans and Pagans of many paths in the USA and around the world will come together on the spiritual planes to send support for the Pentacle to be accepted as a religious emblem on US government-issued headstones and markers for deceased veterans.
On January 6, 2006, Circle Sanctuary, with the support of the Covenant of the Goddess and Sacred Well Congregation, applied for the acceptance of the Pentacle emblem under the new protocols of the Department of Veterans Affairs. In addition, this week, in order to meet requirements of the newly published protocols, Aquarian Tabernacle Church has appended material to its application, which has been pending since 1997.
Since 1974, Circle Sanctuary has been providing support for Wiccan/Pagan vets and those actively serving in the military.
