LLL Alert: Act Now to Stop VA Religious Discrimination
Veteran Pentacle QuestSPEAK OUT NOW about VA Proposed Procedures
Despite repeated requests to do so over the past decade, the US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) still has not added the Wiccan symbol, the Pentacle, to its list of emblems of belief that can be included on memorial markers, headstones, and plaques it issues to honor deceased veterans. Yet, during this time, the VA has added emblems for other religions and belief systems.
The VA has proposed new procedures for emblems of belief approval for grave markers -- however, these new procedures do nothing to correct or prevent religious discrimination -- in fact, if adopted, they will authorize it!
The deadline for making public comment is fast approaching -- only days left!
