March 2, 2006 - Circle Times Update

Circle Sanctuary's efforts to get the Pentacle on the VA approved list of emblems of belief has included providing support for a Wiccan family in Nevada who are part of our church.

This part of the quest for Pentacles vets has just gone public.

Roberta Stewart, a Wiccan widow, has spoken about her immediate need to have the Pentacle approved so that it can be inscribed on the Memorial marker for her deceased husband, Sgt. Patrick Stewart of the Nevada National Guard, who also is a War hero and Wiccan.

Photos and more details have be published in the March 2, 2006 Las Vegas Review Journal.

On March 2, a Veterans Administration official met by phone with Selena Fox, high priestess of Circle Sanctuary, and confirmed that Circle Sanctuary's application has now gone to the next step in the approval process.

Please continue to do circles, meditations, and other blessings to send support for the Pentacle to be accepted as a religious emblem on US government-issued headstones and markers for deceased veterans.

Join in a special worldwide working on Tuesday evening, March 7.

Please post this email to lists and forward it to others who can help join in this spiritual working of support.

Additional updates to this quest will be published in Circle Times, our news bulletin. Subscriptions are free and can be done online ( http://www.circlesanctuary.org ) or by emailing the Circle Sanctuary office: circle@circlesanctuary.org.
