Spiritual Support for Virginia Tech Community
Circle Sanctuary is among the many churches and religious communities responding with spiritual support in the wake of the tragedy of shooting massacre at Virginia Tech University yesterday. Selena Fox, high priestess of Circle Sanctuary and a native Virginian, already has begun networking support by phone and email with some Circle Network members in Virginia in the Blacksburg and Roanoke areas.

Wiccans, Druids, and other Pagans who have been personally impacted by this tragedy and in need of counseling and/or other spiritual support with a Pagan orientation should contact the Circle Sanctuary church office as soon as possible. Circle Sanctuary has put together an emergency response team of several of our ministers with grief counseling skills who are available to do counseling and other support by telephone. Pagan groups and healers in the Blacksburg, Virginia area and vicinity who are available to help Pagans on the Virginia Tech campus and elsewhere in the area in need should contact Selena: selena@circlesanctuary.org right away. Include a phone number, email, and information about what kind of help you can offer. If you are doing any memorial circles and healing rituals, please mention this.

Tonight, Selena will be facilitating a healing meditation in support of those impacted by the Virginia Tech tragedy as part of a New Moon Circle tonight at Circle Sanctuary Nature Preserve near Barneveld, Wisconsin, beginning at 7 pm central time, to coincide with the candlelight vigil on the Virginia Tech campus. A Virginia Tech community healing altar has been set up in the Circle Sanctuary Temple Room. Email or fax us photos, words of healing, names and contact info for those in need that you know to be placed on this altar.
