Blessings of strength, healing, and love to you all from our community, Circle Sanctuary, headquartered in Wisconsin, but with members throughout the USA & around the world, including at NIU. You continue to be in our thoughts, prayers, and meditations. Blessed Be." February 22 Update MSNBC video: Northern Illinois University memorial service held in tribute of all affected by the shootings on Feb. 14. Circle Sanctuary is among the churches and other organizations responding with support in the aftermath of the tragedy of the shootings at the Northern Illinois University (NIU) campus in Dekalb, Illinois yesterday afternoon, February 14, 2008. Wiccans, Pagans, and other Nature religion practitioners impacted by this NIU tragedy and interested in receiving Pagan spiritual counseling support should contact the Circle Sanctuary church office as soon as possible. Email: healing@circlesanctuary.org, and include name, phone number(s), emails, and connection with the NIU community and the tragedy. Circle Sanctuary has a team of Circle Sanctuary ministers and members of the NIU community available to do crisis counseling by phone and/or face-to-face. Earlier today, Rev. Selena Fox, senior minister of Circle Sanctuary, met by phone with NIU student affairs staff. She expressed sympathies, offered counseling help, and aid in interfaith spiritual networking. She is coordinating Circle Sanctuary's NIU crisis response.
More information about the shooting tragedy is in various media sites as well as at the NIU website.
