Deborah Ann Light Healing Update

Update: Deborah Ann Light and Jeri Baldwin thank you for your healing efforts. Deborah was transferred from the hospital to a rehabilitation center in mid-November and at the end of November returned to her home in New York. Both Deborah and Jeri are doing better now.

Deborah is now in the ICU of a Florida hospital. She is very weak. Her blood pressure continues to fluctuate. Her condition has gone from serious to very serious.

Deborah was admitted to the hospital a week ago for pains in her chest and blood pressure problems.

Although Deborah has undergone many tests, doctors and other medical staff have not yet been able to diagnose her condition or stabilize her blood pressure. Her blood pressure problems worsened last night, which necessitated her transfer to the intensive care unit of the hospital, where she is right now.

Deborah is a well-known and beloved Pagan Elder from Long Island, New York. Deborah has contributed much to the Craft and Paganism over the years. In 1993, representing Circle Sanctuary, EarthSpirit Community, and Covenant of the Goddess, Deborah became the first Wiccan minister to serve on the Assembly of Religious and Spiritual Leaders of the Parliament of the World's Religions. She paved the way for more Wiccan/Pagan participation in this and other interfaith endeavors. Over the years, Deborah has presented workshops, guided rituals, and supported a variety of Pagan, environmental, feminist, and interfaith organizations and projects.

Whether or not you know Deborah personally, please join in sending healing support for her, and please invite others to do so as well.
