I attended the fire circle/shamanic journey in 2006 on Circle land. The environment was ideal for this kind of mind and body work, because of the location of the fire circle which provided intimacy among the group members in attendance. In that delicate space I found that I was well taken care of throughout the journey with hot tea, water and snacks, good conversation and plush resting areas. I was a fire tender and working with Reed to create the "fire mandala" was the best. So I felt safe and trusted all involved, and hoped that the weekend would be as good for all.

My favorite moments included chanting a song to Green Tara which was initiated by Faern and Moonfeather in the wee hours of the morning as I was lying back for a moment of rest from circling the fire, staring up into the trees which were glowing from the firelight as a cool breeze blew over me. I was also humbled by a gift given to me by one of the participants, a fetish for my car of strung stones and feathers, which has helped me and protected me when driving long distances.

I wholeheartedly recommend participating in a fire circle/shamanic journey and purging and welcoming the spectrum of experiences that are there waiting for you.
