At Circle Sanctuary near Barneveld, Wisconsin
(Pre-registration required)

look around the fire...look within yourself...

We invite and welcome friends from all traditions and paths to join us for this Sacred Fire Circle weekend! Join us in Sacred Ceremony as we drum, dance, chant, and trance, be of service, and connect with each other around the Sacred Fire each night from midnight to dawn. Together we will create a space for personal transformation, to manifest your dreams and prayers, to turn lead to gold.

Sacred Fire Circles are participatory events - - there is no staff, and the events are co-created by each of us making the commitments of contributions of service to the gathering. When you register you will be given a list of ways to be of service to the Gathering that you may choose from. When you register, there is also the opportunity to apply for early Village Builders if you can commit to arriving one day early. Cost for food and camping for early Village Builders is $10. All participants are expected to help with the tear down of the Sacred Fire Circle closing morning as well as contributing an hour of general help closing the site after breakfast.

Afternoon workshops times are available for anyone who would like to share one during the weekend. Workshops aren’t considered ahead of time. If you have a workshop you’d like to present simply post it on the community bulletin board with the time and place and announce it at the meals! Drumming, chanting, dancing, yoga, energy work, stone work, Shamanic or alchemical workshops or what ever you have to offer bring it on!

Once you have registered for the Fire Circle you will be invited to join a Fire Circle Chat list. This is a great way to meet the tribe and ask questions before the Gathering and perhaps drum up interest for workshops you’d like to present.

Camping areas for tents and campers is available, however there is no electricity or water hook-ups available. There are no individual fires allowed at campsites. Please bring your own sunshade for daytime sleeping as there is limited shade camping. There is a sheltered outdoor shower.

There will be an optional meal plan for this Gathering. You may choose the vegetarian or omnivore plan. This plan begins with lunch the day of your arrival and food will be plentiful, healthy, fresh, and lovingly prepared by our cooks. Three meals per day will be served and snacks will always be available. You may choose to bring your own food to the Gathering but you will still be asked to eat with the rest of the participants. Before choosing this option, please consider there is no refrigeration, ice, or fuel on site and that you can not cook at your campsite unless in a camper. No grills or open fire are allowed. You may, however, use the summer kitchen that has a microwave and stove. Also please consider that making you own meals may take more of your time than you anticipate and you could miss out on workshops, fellowship, and sleep!

A typical day at the Gathering will begin at midnight with the Sacred Fire Circle going until dawn. At dawn, breakfast will be available. Following that will be quiet/sleep time until lunch. After lunch there will be workshops in the afternoon you may choose to attend, as well as meetings with your docent and completing your contribution of service to the Gathering. Dinner will be served and following dinner is again a quiet/sleep time until we start all over again! If you have trouble sleeping in the daytime, ear plugs and an eye mask are highly suggested.

Arrival times:
Thursday - Gate opens at 8am for early Village Builders. All early Village Builders should be on site by 10:00am.

Friday - Gate opens at 7am for general arrival. Gate will be closed for the night at 7pm.

Saturday - Gate opens at 8am for general arrival. Please enter quietly as the rest of the tribe will be going to bed! Everyone attending must be on site by 1pm.
